Success in life is founded
upon attention to the small things rather than to the large things;
to the every day things nearest to us rather than to the things that

We are more successful than we
imagine, it is just that we sometimes sabotage our belief in our
success by thinking or taking about the negatives that happened in
our day.

How to Feel More Successful In
Life - by Kari Farmer
Every day you accomplish tasks,
meet goals, check things off your to-do list, and become more
successful in life. You continuously work towards having the life
that you want, and everything you do is one step towards that life.
But if you are anything like me you don’t feel successful every
single day of your life – even though you’ve accomplished a lot
in your days.
Feeling like a failure is
habit-forming. We constantly focus on the things that we don’t do,
or don’t succeed at in life, and we call ourselves failures because
of these things. The truth is we have many more successes in life
than failures but we choose to put our attention on the things we
didn’t get done.
I’m not just talking about huge
things that we are striving to be successful at in our lives. I’m
also talking about the little things that we do every day that affect
how we feel about ourselves.
Let’s say you are a business
man who is trying to further his career and lose weight as well.
Here’s an example of a typical day:
- Drive to work with no
accidents.
- Accomplish all the tasks
set out to do.
- Exercise 1 hour.
- Make an important phone
call.
- Send an important email.
- Learn something new.
- Eat really crappy food the
entire day.
The list above contains a lot of
successes throughout the day, and one failure in the eyes of someone
trying to lose weight or eat healthier. What do you think he most
likely focuses on at the end of the day? His focus will probably turn
to the fact that he ate really crappy food all day and take over the
spotlight from the rest of his successes during the day.
This is what many people do, and
it’s hard to feel successful when you focus on your failures. But
there is a way to feel more successful in your life! Put the majority
of your focus on your successes!
You can do this by reminding
yourself every night of the successes you had during the day instead
of the failure, and build on those successful endeavours for future
success.
One way to do this is by keep a
success journal. Every night before you go to bed write down at least
5 things that you succeeded at during the day. This will be personal
to you but it can range from brushing your teeth to landing the big
account! Anything that furthered you in your life, made you feel
better, made you do better, and pushed you forward is a success.
Write down your success, why you
felt is was a success, how you can add-on to that success, and your
next action to take towards that success.
For example:
Success – Made an important
phone call
Reason – Built a new
relationship with an important person.
Further progress – Keep in
contact with that person.
Next action – Arrange a lunch
meeting for next Thursday with this new contact.
Making a habit of doing a success
journal nightly will allow you to see that there are many things that
you do during the day that you are successful at and it will stop you
from focusing on your failures. It will also make you more successful
during your day because you will be actively looking for things to do
that you feel are a success and can write down later in your journal.
And lastly the ‘next action’ step will keep you moving forward by
scheduling in action orientated moves that build on your successes.
But remember that even failures
are successes because you learn something from them. You can take
what you learned and apply it to your next day. You probably realize
that you don’t feel good eating crappy food and remember that
lesson for the next day, so even the realization of your failure
becomes a success!
Stop kicking yourself about
things you didn’t do before your head hits the pillow and start
focusing on your successes. Your health, happiness, and life will
thank you.

“
Relentless, repetitive self
talk is what changes our self-image.” - Denis Waitley
We all have some negative self-talk that is really holding us back from success.
The article below gives 10 tips on how to release this negative self-talk and improve your life.
Michael Wilkovesky
True Life Success Secrets: Top 10 Secrets To Releasing Negative Self Talk - Author: Tammy Matthews
Learning to control the negative self talk that's robbing you of your enthusiasm for life can unleash your potential to live a life full of endless possibilities.
Focus - What you focus on plays a definite role in what you allow yourself to believe is possible for you. It also plays a definite role in what you're attracting into your life. If you find yourself constantly focusing on the negative things in your life then you are attracting more negative things to come into your life. By learning to focus on the good things in your life you create a better environment to manifest the life you dream of.
Your Story - The story you tell yourself about what you deserve in life is what you begin to believe. Whether you tell yourself that you're capable and deserving or incapable and undeserving, you're going to be right. What do you want to be right about? Tell yourself the story you want to live.
Replace - When you find yourself having a negative thought about yourself you have the option to not finish it. Cut the negative thought off and replace it with a more powerful positive thought. This may take a little work at first, but in a short period of time it will become natural process you welcome into your positive lifestyle.
Be A Friend - How do you treat your friends? If they make a mistake do you call them on it? Do you belittle them for not being perfect? No! And it's time to stop doing it to yourself. Decide to treat yourself with the same respect and positive encouragement you would treat your friends. If you would pat them on the back for trying, do the same for yourself. Be your own best friend and discover the feeling of being proud of your accomplishments.
Journaling - By writing your thoughts down on paper you will begin to realize just how destructive negative self talk is on your happiness. You will see a visual account of your positive and negative thoughts and have the ability to better recognize which thoughts you need to find replacements for and which thoughts you need to pay more attention to.
Create - Be constantly aware of what you want to create in your life. Choose the emotions and attitudes that are present in your life. Focus on the present moment and let the past be the past and the future be the future. Your life originates in your mind first. What you consistently think about is what you create. So, create the life you want to live.
Energy - Decide to stop wasting your energy on negative thoughts and unproductive thinking. In your mind it is a thought, but in your body it steals precious positive energy you require to live an abundant life. Demand the positive energy that will brighten your day and over time change the way you live your life.
Gratitude - There is no better way to attract positivity into your life than to be grateful for the good things you already have in your life. Spend some time daily thinking about the things that you presently have to be grateful for.
Invite - Each day wake up and verbally invite positivity to be a part of your life. Get excited and say out loud what you demand of the day. Jump up and down and empower the positive vibration to become the driving force in your day.
Demand - Don't just hope that you can release the negative self talk, Demand It! Make a conscious decision to negate your negative self-talk and replace it with positive thinking.
Get busy and release your negative self talk once and for all. Allow yourself to invite the happiness you deserve to manifest in your life. And demand that your life be overflowing with positive outcomes.

We all know that the Law of
Attraction works on what we think. But what if you have FUD, Fear,
Uncertainty and Doubt, what do you do to make sure that the Law of
Attraction and the Law of Polarity work for you, not against you.
The following article discusses
this fact about the Law of Attraction: fear will start the Law just
as quickly as desire. So be careful of what you think.
As always, to your success.
Michael Wilkovesky
Fear And The Law Of Attraction,
By: Danilo Fleming
Fear thoughts is that condition
of the mind in which everything is seen through blue glasses -- in
which everything seems to bring a sense of the futility of endeavor
-- the ``I Can't'' principle of mentality, as contrasted with the ``I
Can and I Will'' mental attitude. It is the noxious weed in the
mental garden, which tends to kill the valuable plants to be found
therein. It is the fly in the ointment -- the spider in the cup of
the Wine of Life.
So far as we know the first
person to use the word ``Fear-Thought'' -- which has now passed into
common use -- was Horace Fletcher, the well-known writer, who coined
it to supplant the use of the word ``Worry'' in a certain sense. He
had pointed out that Anger and Worry were the two great hindrances to
a well- balanced, advanced and progressive mentality, but many
misunderstood him and urged that to abolish Worry meant to cease
taking any consideration of the morrow -- a lack of common prudence
and forethought.
And so Fletcher coined the word
``Fear-Thought'' to express a phase of his idea of ``Forethought
without Worry,'' and he entitled his second book on the subject,
``Happiness, as found in Forethought minus Fear-Thought,'' a very
happy expression of a very happy idea.
Fletcher also was the first to
advance the idea that Fear was not a thing-in-itself, but merely an
expression of Fear- Thought -- a manifestation of the state of mind
known as Fear-Thought. He and others who have written on the subject,
have taught that Fear might be abolished by the practice of
abolishing Fear-Thought from the mind -- by driving it out of the
mental chamber -- and the best teachers have taught that the best way
to drive out Fear (or any other undesirable mental state) was by
cultivating the thought of the opposite quality of mind by compelling
the mind to dwell upon the mental picture of the desirable quality,
and by the appropriate auto-suggestions.
The illustration has often been
stated that the way to drive darkness from a room is not to shovel it
out, but to throw open the shutters and let the sunlight stream in,
and that is the best way to neutralize Fear- Thought.
The mental process has aptly been
spoken of as ``vibrations,'' a figure that has a full warrant in
modern science. Then, by raising the vibration to the Positive pitch,
the negative vibrations may be counteracted. By cultivating the
qualities recommended in the other lessons of this book, Fear-Thought
may be neutralized. The poison of Fear- Thought is insidious and
subtle, but it slowly creeps through the veins until it paralyzes all
useful efforts and action, until the heart and brain are affected and
find it difficult to throw it off. Fear-Thought is at the bottom of
the majority of failures and ``going down'' in life.
As long as a man keeps his nerve
and confidence in himself, he is able to rise to his feet after each
stumble, and face the enemy resolutely -- but let him feel the
effects of Fear-Thought to such an extent that he cannot throw it off
and he will fail to rise and will perish miserable. ``There is
nothing to fear except Fear,'' has well been said.
We have spoken elsewhere about
the Law of Attraction, which operates in the direction of attracting
to us, that which we Desire. But there is a reverse side to this --
it is a poor rule that will not work both ways. Fear will set into
motion the Law of Attraction just as well as Desire. Just as Desire
draws to one the things he pictures in his mind as the Desired Thing,
so will Fear draw to him the thing pictured in his mind as the Thing
Feared. ``The thing that I feared hath befallen me.'' And the reason
is very simple, and the apparent contradiction vanishes when we
examine the matter.
What is the pattern upon which
the Law of Attraction builds under the force of Desire? The Mental
Image, of course. And so it is in the case of Fear -- the person
carries about the Mental Image or haunting picture of the Feared
Thing, and the Law of Attraction brings it to him just as it brings
the Desired Thing. Did you ever stop to think that Fear was the
negative pole of Desire? The same laws work in both cases.
So avoid Fear-Thought as you
would the poisonous draught that you know would cause your blood to
become black and thick, and your breathing labored and difficult. It
is a vile thing, and you should not rest content until you have
expelled it from your mental system.
You can get rid of it by Desire
and Will, coupled with the holding of the Mental Image of
Fearlessness. Drive it up by cultivating its opposite. Change your
polarity. Raise your mental vibrations. Someone has said, ``There is
no Devil but Fear'' -- then send that Devil back to the place where
he properly belongs, for if you entertain him hospitably he will make
your heaven a hell in order that he may feel at home. Use the mental
Big Stick on him.

Six Mistakes That Stop The Law Of
Attraction From Working For You - Life Coaching Program, By:
MatthewFerry
As an executive coach, I notice
one shift in mindset can translate to amazing results. As a life
coach, I see people experiencing so much joy, love, peace and
happiness in all areas of their lives – business, home,
relationships with others, health. Setting the Law of Attraction into
motion to achieve what you want can be a powerful force along this
path. And I know this, and still I myself make mistakes.
I made some big mistakes last
year and I want to share the results with you.
Everything I’ve ever taught has
had this concept at the core: Be happy first, and everything else
works itself out.
I observed it in the most
successful people I met; I taught it to thousands who used the
concept to have very successful lives. Then somehow I got off the
path myself.
The moment I stopped trying to
show the world I could have a big company, I felt joy. The moment I
stopped working from guilt and obligation, trying to keep up
appearances, I felt light and free.
The moment I let go of doing
things that made me feel bad, and stopped doing things because they
were things I had grown used to doing, everything changed. Everything
got better. Everything accelerated. Things became effortless.
Everything started flowing again.
Magic, synchronicity, and
cooperation began to flow in my life. My wife jumped on board and
starting helping me with everything, and we have been reconnecting
and loving each other more and more ever since.
I got my joy back, and the moment
I got my joy back. The Law of Attraction started working again! For
me, it was even worse to completely realize that the Law of
Attraction had never stopped working for me. The Law of Attraction
gladly orchestrated all of my failures, set backs, resistance and
obstacles.
But no one ever talks about
that…do they? I want to share with you six mistakes people make
with the Law of Attraction, so you don’t have to go there yourself.
You can shift and find yourself back on track once again.
Law of Attraction Mistake # 1:
I'm not clear about what I want and why I want it.
“
I know what I want! I want
more money! I want to be fit, thin and sexy!” Most people say. Yet,
most people who say that to me are fat and broke. They haven’t
gotten to the bottom of why they want what they want. Almost everyone
I meet is trying to prove something, demonstrate something, be
something, show the world, and be somebody.
You are always getting what you
want. You just aren’t clear about it, so when you get it, you don’t
know you have it.
If you want fame and fortune so
you can prove to the world that you are good enough, then your mind
is clear that you aren’t good enough; otherwise you won’t have to
prove it. If you are clear you aren’t good enough, then you will
attract situations that make it obvious you aren’t good enough.
Law of Attraction Mistake #2:
What I want conflicts with my beliefs.
This is the true killer of your
manifestations. As a life coach, I see this all the time. You are
always getting what you truly believe.
Wanting
(a) I want to be rich
(b) I want the love of my life
(c) I want respect and power
(d) I want to be #1
(e) I want to be skinny
Believing
(a) I’m not good enough
(b) I’m ugly
(c) I’m stupid
(d) I don’t deserve success
(e) I hate myself
You can see where what you want
and what you believe may conflict. This sets up a Law of Attraction
messing up of your resonation. You are resonating with one thing and
another, all over the place. You will attract something but who knows
what that will be. Get clear and let go of the beliefs that are
blocking your wishes from flowing to you easily.
Law of Attraction Mistake #3:
What I want begins to manifest from where I stand today (the mistake
is most people don’t get that).
Where you are is the perfect
place to get what you want. But, most people decide on their new
intention and instantly make where they are wrong. They say “Some
day, when I have this or have done that, then I will …”
This sends out a message: now is
not enough.
Now is not good.
Law of Attraction Mistake # 4: I
drop everything to pursue my manifestation.
People drop everything that is
sustaining them. People drop everything that holds their life
together. When you compromise your structure for existence, that
critical mind part of you kicks into survival mode. Your life becomes
a train wreck.
Law of Attraction Mistake #5: My
focus is self-centered.
You will never be in the flow
worrying about yourself. Worrying about self is seeing what is wrong.
Instead, focus your attention on being of service to others. Watch
what happens when you shift your energy to help others.
Law of Attraction Mistake #6: I’m
obsessed with getting my results.
The results always come but they
bubble up. They never look the way you thought they would. That’s
the magic of the universe working on your behalf. Results show up in
the way that serves everyone on the planet. So this is not always
what you thought, in fact, the result seldom resembles exactly what
you imagined. But it might be better.

“
The lack of money is the
root of all evil.” - Mark Twain
What it Takes
We all want more money in our
lives and we try to attract it by using affirmations and meditation.
The article below shows that we
may need to do more.
How to Attract Money Using the
Law of Attraction, By: Suzanne Glover
If you want to effectively learn
how to attract money using the Law of Attraction, you've got to go
deeper than just doing affirmations and "thinking positive."
This articles tells you a rare secret for using the Law of Attraction
to attract money which gets you to the heart of attraction without a
lot of work.
What you must do when using the
Law of Attraction is to learn how to manifest money through "unseen"
or "unconscious" means, which are found at deeper levels
than your conscious mind.
How deep do I mean? I mean going
straight to your subconscious mind and addressing all the negative
beliefs you have around money. Now, many people such as yourself hear
this and say, "Gee, I don't think I have any negative beliefs
around money, so this doesn't apply to me," or say, "But
I'm doing money affirmations to change my subconscious mind, so this
doesn't apply to me, either," right? Wrong! If you've been
living in today's modern society, you most likely have absorbed many
negative beliefs about money that are working straight against all
those money affirmations you're doing when using the Law of
Attraction for money goals.
These "unseen and unheard"
money beliefs are lurking in the background of your mind and
discrediting all that "positive thinking" you're trying to
"shove down its throat." Your subconscious mind doesn't
really like to change that much, as well as it has a "gatekeeper"
(your conscious mind) to keep out all those radical thoughts that go
against the grain of your subconscious. And it is your subconscious
that is consistently putting out an energetic signal about money
(either good or bad) to which the Law of Attraction can't help but
respond.
So, what you want to do is teach
your subconscious mind how to attract money and you may already be
trying to do this by reciting money affirmations. Now, I will admit
that money affirmations do eventually work, but they take huge
amounts of continual effort to get them past your conscious mind's
resistance.
A better way to teach your
subconscious mind how to attract money is to use something called
silent subliminals that go straight past your conscious mind to get
directly absorbed by your subconscious mind because the "gatekeeper"
(your conscious mind) can't hear the affirmations, so they don't get
discredited. This takes off a huge layer of resistance to your
affirmations.
But, even if you use the silent
subliminals, you still must use "targeted subliminals" that
address many of today's negative money beliefs in a safe and gentle
fashion. Why? Because, again, no matter how many money affirmations
you do for a "large sum of money," if one of your "negative
social beliefs around money" is that people with money are bad
and greedy, then you're not going to get that large sum of money
because you don't want to be a "bad, greedy" person. So,
your ship is sunk before it even gets afloat, and the sad part about
this is that most people don't even know their ship has a hole in it!
Why? Because most people are not aware of the negative social beliefs
they've picked up from society. That's why it's important to find and
use affirmations that address these beliefs and gently "coax"
your subconscious into feeling good around having money.
Once you know how to attract
money by addressing your specific subconscious barriers to having
money, you're set up to use the Law of Attraction for money
successfully because then your mind goes on "auto pilot"
and simply works to attract money. It knows how to manifest money
even when you're sleeping because it's sending out an energetic
signal that "money is good" and that "you are
deserving" and the Law of Attraction has no choice but to
respond because the Law of Attraction is all about energy. This is
the easiest and most effective way to learn how to attract money
using the Law of Attraction.
